The venue is a stationary/permanently docked boat on Lake Union, and may be warm.
Dress accordingly for the summer weather, and feel free to have fun with the boat theme!

Hotels
Seattle has a multitude of Airbnb and hotel options. We recommend the University District, South Lake Union, Downtown, and Capitol Hill neighborhoods as convenient places to stay.
For your convenience, we also have a limited number of courtesy rooms reserved at the Residence Inn in University District for $259/night, and the Fairfield Inn & Suites near the Space Needle for $189/night. Both need to be booked using the links above by June 30th, 2026 in order to receive the discount.

Our story
March 13th, 2019 - We meet for the first time! Natalie's best friend Evelyn invites Cameron to hang out after a local Pokemon Go event, and introduces him to Natalie (turns out we were already friends in the game!)
November 11th, 2021 - Natalie calls Cameron late at night after a concert and suggests dating officially. Two days later on November 13th, Cameron meets Natalie’s dad, Jim, who happens to be in town. We all watch Dune.
October 22nd, 2022 - Our first big trip! After meeting some of Cameron's friends for an event in LA, we fly directly to Chicago for Natalie's friend's wedding.
February 18th, 2024 - We digitally sign a lease for a Seattle apartment together on Natalie's 32rd birthday while on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
September 28th, 2024 - Marriage discussions have begun! Turns out Cameron's friend is a jeweler, and she helps us design our two engagement rings.
February 14th, 2025 - Cameron surprises Natalie with a Valentine’s Day dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Half Shell. Afterwards, Cameron proposes at the Seattle waterfront with our newly completed rings!
August 2nd, 2025 - Evelyn, now a maid of honor, throws us an engagement party at Rock Box Karaoke exactly one year before our big day!
August 2nd, 2026 - Our wedding day... great memories to follow!
